Dear Clear Sky Zen-ers,

Happy Thanksgiving!  Wishing you a healthy, happy and safe holiday!

In observance of the holiday, there will be *no sitting* this week on
November 25th.  Enjoy your time with friends and family!

We will be having *three *more sitting before the end of the semester in
December.  Please join us on *December 2, 9 and 16* for the final sittings
of 2009.  All three sitting will be *open sittings.  *This means that the
sittings will start as usual at 7 pm with our traditional ceremony—but
participants can come and go as they please throughout the sitting (meaning
that members may arrive late or leave early).

We hope this open format will encourage all of us to incorporate meditation,
even if brief, into our busy schedules.  Also, you might consider
alternating sitting and studying, which is easily done at McKinley since the
main hall adjacent to our room is used for quiet study space.
