After looking at the weather reports (see below), I feel it best to cancel
tonight's sitting.  Please drive slowly and safely and avoid the cold
temperatures this evening.  If you were planning to attend, enjoy a quiet
sitting at home tonight.

Weather Reports - January 14

PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MOST OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS INTO THIS AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTS OF
25 TO 40 MPH ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE STORM WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW... ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE VISIBILITY MAY DROP TO BELOW
1 MILE AT TIMES IN OUTLYING AREAS DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.

BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL SETTLE INTO THE REGION TONIGHT INTO EARLY
FRIDAY AS ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. THE COLD TEMPERATURES WILL COMBINE
WITH THE WIND TO PRODUCE AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF WIND CHILLS OF 25 BELOW TO 30
BELOW ZERO. LOCALLY COLDER WIND CHILLS ARE POSSIBLE... ESPECIALLY THURSDAY
NIGHT.
